Ben Youn (Director) B.Bus., LL.B, CPA, CTA

Ben is the director of our practice with the extensive practical experiences in accounting and tax areas gained initially from an insurance company as a loss adjuster then Sydney CBD based CA accounting firms. For last 10 years he has been working in taxation, business services and audit sector in both public practices and a commercial company. In his time in the public practice, he has focused on practicing in maximising business profit and sustainable growth through right business setup, process improvement with right system and expert business and taxation advice.

Ben’s main practice areas are:

Ben holds Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business degrees, and he is a member of CPA Australia and a Chartered Tax Adviser from The Tax Institute. Chartered Tax Adviser is a new designation from The Tax Institution with global recognition for tax professionals. Ben also works as an External Examiner of NSW Law Society conducting trust account audit for legal practices in New South Wales.

John Shute (Senior Associate) CA

John has been a qualified practitioner since 1977 working for major accounting firms including Touche Ross & Co., KPMG International, AIDC and Selingers. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, an ASIC registered company auditor and registered tax agent.

As well as Australia, John has gained international experience in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and recently in Asia in the areas of business investigation, restructuring, international tax planning and valuation.

John has consulted to a varied range of industries including:

  • Aged Care
  • Export and related services

Jake Baek (Business Analyst) AICPA

Jake is our business analyst who gained extensive experience in multinational companies including American Fire & Marine Insurance Co. and LG Electronics Limited in Korea as group account manager and analyst. His background in commercial corporations helps our business clients to have quality business accounting services as well as rich advice in business planning, budget, forecasting and business evaluation. Jake is an AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) qualified accountant and currently on the way to get his Australian CPA qualification.

 

Jin Kim (Accountant)

Jin supports our business clients in their daily business accounting and tax. Since joining our practice two years ago, he became a valuable member in supporting our clients. His knowledge in business software and general accounting contributes our clients business to grow with transparency and accuracy. Jin completed MYOB course from TAFE NSW and is about to graduate his Bachelor of Commerce course from the University of New South Wales.

Our business support team members are specially trained group of professionals to support our clients’ day to day business issues including bookkeeping, banking, payroll, business analysis, taxation and software trouble shootings. As integrity is the most important value in our practice, their professional conduct and well-built knowledge greatly help our clients’ business needs and requirements.
